Based on The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership® model, the LPI® is a questionnaire that measures 30 key behaviors which research has found to be critical to success. The LPI® excels as an instrument of self-awareness since it collects feedback from not only the leader (via the LPI Self-Assessment), but also from others who are familiar with the leader, such as their bosses, co-workers, and direct reports (via LPI Observer Assessments). To extract feedback that is both honest and useful, the assessment ratings that are completed by an individuals’ colleagues are collected anonymously, with complete confidentiality being our standard approach, whenever it is possible.
There are two different LPI® reports that are available for our one-on-one coaching: the individual report and the reassessment report. While the use of each report is dependent on the scope of a given leadership initiative, either one can provide tremendous insight and value for individuals. LPI® 360 Individual Report:
The individual report shows an individual’s leadership behavior as a snapshot in time, which provides an invaluable benchmark for future reports, and lays the foundation for measurable progress.

The reassessment report takes the data from an individual’s initial assessment and compares it to data from up to three other iterations of the assessment for the same individual. This provides the opportunity to view a change in an individual’s leadership behavior over time.
Click here for free exampleIn order to ensure that the LPI® remains focused on leadership development (and not used as a type of performance appraisal), an individual’s LPI® results are only distributed to them, that way there are no concerns about the results affecting anyone’s standing in the workplace. With measures like this in place, the LPI® encourages both the individual and their colleagues to provide the most accurate feedback on their assessments. Once an individual receives their results, they are equipped with invaluable feedback regarding how they see themselves as leaders, how others view them, and what actions they can start taking to improve their effectiveness as a leader. Depending on what may best suit your needs, we have different coaching packages available for your consideration. Each package can accommodate social distancing and comes with a complete LPI® assessment, supporting material to help you translate your learning into action, and at least one coaching session in which your results are fully explained by trained LPI® coach, Dr. Rob Acosta. Our more elaborate packages provide increasing levels of support and are specifically designed to help you on your leadership journey for up to half a year or longer.
